Section CXXI-1301 - IntroductionA. The fifth grade builds on what students learned about ancient and classical civilizations in grade 4. In this course, students will examine: Medieval Europe and Africa, Aztec and Incan civilizations, the Renaissance and Reformation, the Age of Exploration, and the European conquest and colonization of the Americas. Students will also examine the growth in economic interactions among civilizations as well as the exchange of ideas, beliefs, technologies, and commodities.La. Admin. Code tit. 28, § CXXI-1301
