Section CXV-903 - Exceptional StudentsA. Exceptional students shall not be placed in educational settings that exceed the maximum pupil/teacher ratio or the three-year chronological age span. The age span requirement does not apply to programs for secondary-aged students (students aged 14-21).B. Special class, separate schooling, or other removal of students with disabilities from the regular educational environment shall occur only when the nature or severity of the individual's needs is such that education in regular class with the use of supplementary aids and services cannot be achieved satisfactorily.
