Section III-117 - Ex Parte CommunicationsA. Once a case has been docketed by DAL, no party shall communicate with the assigned administrative law judge regarding the case without the knowledge and consent of all other parties to the matter, except at conferences and/or hearings. The administrative law judge shall promptly notify all parties of any ex parte communication and allow each party an opportunity to respond.B. To obtain information about a case, calls should be placed to the administrative hearings clerks office at (225) 342-1800. The administrative hearings clerks office can answer questions regarding whether a case has been docketed, hearing dates, receipts of filings, and whether an order or decision has been issued.La.
