Each nonresident contractor's bond required under K.S.A. 79-1010, and amendments thereto, shall be the equivalent of an annual bond that covers only those contracts begun during the calendar year in which the bond is filed. This bond shall remain in effect until all contracts registered during the calendar year in which the bond was filed are fully performed and all taxes due under it are paid.
