Section 80-8-7 - Vacancy

In the case of a vacancy of a trustee elected by the members, the vacancy may be filled for the unexpired term by the appointment of a member by the remaining trustees of the board, in accordance with the standards for eligibility provided in K.S.A. 74-4905(a)(2), and amendments thereto. A vacancy by a trustee elected by school members shall be filled only with a school member, and a vacancy by a nonschool trustee shall be filled only with a nonschool member.
