Section 50-2-25a - Electronic filing, definitions
(a) "Electronically filed document" means a "status determination report," an "employer's quarterly wage report and contribution return," or any document filed with the secretary of human resources, pursuant to chapter 44 of the Kansas statutes annotated, that is filed pursuant to these regulations.
(b) "Electronic filing" means the authorized electronic transmission of information required by the Kansas statutes annotated and these regulations when an employing unit or the employing unit's representative transmits to the secretary of human resources a "status determination report" or an "employer's quarterly wage report and contribution return," pursuant to chapter 44 of the Kansas statutes annotated and these regulations.
(c) "Filing party" means the following:
(1) the employing unit;
(2) the employing unit's representative; or
(3) the person authorized to make electronic filings.
(d) "INK" means the information network of Kansas.
(e) "Secretary" means the secretary of human resources.
