Section 5-45-16 - Floodplain fills; disapproval

(a) A levee or floodplain fill should not have an unreasonable effect on adjacent landowners, be adverse to the public interest and environmental concerns or lack required environmental mitiga-tion.

(b) Within six months of the disapproval, the applicant may make a written request to the chief engineer to rescind the disapproval by providing information or modifications of the plans requested by the chief engineer.
