If a boiler or pressure vessel located in this state is moved for temporary use or repair, it shall be subject to immediate certification inspection upon reinstallation. The reinstalled boiler or pressure vessel shall be brought up to the current code requirements. The boiler or pressure vessel shall have a certification inspection if the boiler or pressure vessel has not been previously registered. The owner, user, or installer shall notify the chief inspector of the reinstallation.
