Section 47-4-16 - Interim orders for temporary relief(a) An interim order for temporary relief may be issued by the department or a presiding officer, on its own initiative or on written request, when there has been a showing of good cause. An interim order shall not be granted in permit application cases in which the relief sought is issuance of a permit that has been denied in whole or in part by the department. (b) Unless otherwise specified by statute, an interim order for temporary relief shall be effective for 30 days at most if a hearing is not held on the merits of the issues. Kan. Admin.
