Section 28-16-117 - Double benefits

(a) Projects receiving construction grants under the federal clean water act shall not be eligible to receive loans under the Kansas water pollution control revolving fund act for the nonfederal shares of the projects costs.

(b) Loans shall be made only for the publicly-owned portion of sewerage projects.

(c) If a project receives a loan for planning, preparation of design and construction documents or both, and subsequently receives a federal grant allowance for the same purposes, the loan recipient shall repay the loan to the extent of the allowance received by not later than 30 days from the receipt of the allowance.
