Section 129-6-63 - Assignment of rights to support or other third-party payments

Each applicant or recipient shall assign to the secretary any accrued, present, or future rights to the following:

(a) Medical support payments received for any individual for whom medical assistance is claimed; and

(b) third-party payments for medical care that the individual could receive on the individual's own behalf or on behalf of any other family member who is or would be in the individual's assistance plan.
