Section 129-14-32 - Premium payment requirement

(a) If the total monthly applicable income in a family group exceeds 166 percent of the official federal poverty-level income guidelines, the family shall pay a monthly premium for coverage in kancare-CHIP.

(b) Each family who fails to pay the monthly premium for two consecutive months shall be considered delinquent, which shall result in the ineligibility of that family. The period of ineligibility shall not exceed 90 days.
