Section 112-104-29 - Waiver of requirements

(a) One or more of the requirements of this article applicable to accounting and internal controls may be waived by the commission on its own initiative, upon the commission's determination that the compensating control or procedure, as documented in a facility manager's internal control system, meets the operational integrity requirements of the act and this article.

(b) Any facility manager may submit a written request to the commission for a waiver for one or more of the requirements in this article. The request shall be filed on an amendment waiver and request form and shall include supporting documentation demonstrating how the proposed accounting and internal controls for which the waiver has been requested would meet the operational integrity requirements of the act and this article.
