Section 110-40-2 - Availability and form of financial assistance from the Kansas department of commerce

(a) Financial assistance shall be available from the department to support the pre-export credit needs or post-export credit needs or both of exporters with respect to Kansas export transactions where:

(1) credit or loans may otherwise not be made available;

(2) there are reasonable risks; and

(3) there is sufficient likelihood of repayment.

(b) Financial assistance may be in the form of insurance, co-insurance, reinsurance, or guarantee of a loan or the credit extended to exporters by Kansas financial institutions.
