Rule 875-66.1 - Waivers of rules

This chapter outlines generally applicable standards and a uniform process for the granting of individual waivers from rules adopted by the board. To the extent another more specific provision of law governs the issuance of a waiver from a particular rule, the more specific provision shall supersede this chapter with respect to any waiver from that rule.

(1)Authority. Authority for the board to grant waivers is set forth in Iowa Code sections 17A.9A and 89A.11.

(2)Definition. "Waiver" means a waiver pursuant to Iowa Code section 17A.9A or an exception or variance pursuant to Iowa Code section 89A.11.
