Rule 871-24.4 - [Effective 2/12/2025] Benefit rights information

(1)Intrastate benefits. Benefit rights information is available online to explain those provisions in the law and rules that govern the individual's monetary eligibility, rights and responsibilities under Iowa's unemployment insurance program.

(2)Interstate benefits. Benefit rights information is not required for each individual who files an initial claim for interstate benefits. Claimants will be advised to contact the liable state that will provide additional information explaining the individual's rights, benefits, and responsibilities under the liable state's unemployment insurance program.

This rule is intended to implement Iowa Code section 96.4.
