Approved Iowa national service corps programs are considered governmental entities in accordance with rule 11-118.4 (8A). As such, state agencies or political subdivisions of the state may enter into an agreement for services with any approved Iowa national service corps program directly or through an agreement with the commission and are not required to use competitive selection.
