The commission functions by (1) attending the meeting of the national conference, (2) contacting members and committees of the general assembly, (3) reporting to the general assembly and the governor, (4) participating in the committee work of the national conference, and (5) informing members of the general public about the work of the national conference and receiving ideas from individuals.
