Upon submission of a completed application as set forth in rule 761-540.4 (321N), the department shall process the application and inform the transportation network company of the package's status no later than 30 days after the department receives the application. Application statuses for the purpose of this rule are as follows: "in process," "granted," and "denied." If the department informs a transportation network company that the application is "in process," then the department shall also inform the transportation network company of the reason for the status.
