Rule 661-83.5 - Expungement of records

(1)Expungement upon reversal of conviction. Upon receipt of a certified copy of a court order reversing a conviction which forms the basis for a registrant's being required to register, the division of criminal investigation shall expunge the registration, provided that the registrant has been convicted of no other offense requiring registration.

(2)Expungement upon expiration of registration period. The division of criminal investigation shall expunge a registrant's registration upon expiration of the period during which the registrant is required to register, provided that the registrant has not subsequently been convicted of an offense that would require registration.
