The taking of fingerprints shall be in compliance with Iowa Code sections 232.148(2), 690.2 and 690.4. Fingerprints taken pursuant to these sections shall be submitted to the records and identification section of the division of criminal investigation within two working days, and the department shall submit the fingerprints to the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
