Any member of a fire department who serves in a capacity other than structural firefighting at an emergency incident shall have received training based on the duties the member might perform at an emergency incident. Training to meet this requirement may be provided by the fire service training bureau, a community college, a regional fire training facility, or a local fire department, or any combination thereof.
