The purpose of this chapter is to establish the minimum standard of practice for limited drug and device distribution in the state of Iowa. This chapter applies to a person who is involved in the distribution of drugs and devices but who does not meet the definition of a wholesale distributor under federal or state law. In addition to the rules of the board, any distribution of prescription drugs and devices shall be in compliance with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations.
