Rule 657-11.30 - Controlled substances annual inventory

An accurate inventory shall be taken annually of all controlled substances maintained at the primary program site and program substations. Controlled substances in a pharmacy-based service program shall be included in the pharmacy's annual controlled substances inventory. The inventory record shall identify the drug name or National Drug Code (NDC) and the exact quantity under the control of the service program including drugs in replenishment stock and quarantined stock. The inventory record shall contain the date and time the inventory was taken and the printed name and signature of the individual or individuals responsible for the inventory record. Records of the inventory shall be maintained pursuant to rule 657-11.34(124,147A,155A).
