Rule 645-141.3 - Foreign-trained applicants

Foreign-trained nursing home administrators will:

(1) Provide an equivalency evaluation of their educational credentials by International Educational Research Foundation, Inc., Credentials Evaluation Service. A candidate will be responsible for the expense of the curriculum evaluation.

(2) Provide a copy of the certificate or diploma awarded to the applicant from a nursing home administration program in the country in which the applicant was educated.

(3) Provide satisfactory evidence of completion of administrator training program, practicum or 2,080 hours of work experience in long-term health care administration.
