Rule 641-76.28 - Committees

The council may designate one or more committees to perform such duties as may be deemed necessary.

(1) The chairperson appoints the nominations committee, which will submit a slate of potential members and officers.

(2) Additional committees or ad hoc committees may be formed as needed.

(3) Committees should be utilized whenever possible to review particular substantive areas by previewing recommendations, framing issues for the larger group and presenting on issues that need to be addressed by the council.
