Rule 641-139.8 - Continuing education providers-approval, record keeping and inspection

(1) A training program may conduct continuing education courses utilizing training program instructors.

(2) Each training program shall assign a sponsor number to each core continuing education course using an assignment system approved by the department.

(3) Course approval shall be completed prior to the course's being offered.

(4) Each training program shall maintain a participant record that includes, as a minimum:

a. Name.

b. Address.

c. Certification number

d. Course sponsor number

e. Course instructor

f. Date of course.

g. CEHs awarded.

(5) The department may request additional information or inspect the records of any continuing education provider who is currently approved or who is seeking approval.
