As part of the notice of intended action, the consumer credit code administrator may schedule a hearing.
(1)Conduct of public hearings. When required to do so, or in the attorney general's discretion, the consumer credit code administrator shall conduct a public hearing. The hearing shall be conducted by and be under the control of a presiding officer who shall be the consumer credit code administrator or a person designated by the administrator. The presiding officer shall have authority to take any action necessary for the orderly conduct of the hearing including continuing the hearing to a later time or date without notice other than by announcement at the hearing.(2)Record of hearing. A record may be made of the hearing proceedings by mechanical or other means.Iowa Admin. Code r. 61-11.5
