Numbered, self-adhesive bird tags shall be placed on a leg of all birds harvested on a licensed hunting preserve prior to the bird being transported from the licensed area. The bird tag shall remain attached to the bird until the time it is processed for consumption.
Bird tags shall be purchased from the License Bureau of the Iowa Department of Natural Resources, Wallace State Office Building, Des Moines, Iowa 50319-0034, at a cost of $5 per 100 bird tags.
