Rule 571-40.42 - Raccoon River Regional Park Lake, Polk County

(1) All vessels shall be operated at a speed not greater than 5 miles per hour.

(2) A 40-acre body of water located in the southeast corner, and separate from the main lake, shall be designated for nonmotorized and electric motors only. The city of West Des Moines will designate the area with regulatory buoys and signs.

(3) Areas may be specifically designated for swimming by the use of regulatory buoys.
