Projects for which grants have been approved may be amended, if funds are available, to increase or decrease project scope or to increase or decrease project costs and grant amount. All amendments must be approved by the appropriate project review and selection committee and by the director. Amendments that result in an increase in the cost of the project in excess of $25,000 or 25 percent of the approved cost, whichever is greater, or that involve a change in the project purpose also must be approved by the commission.
