The local share of state all-terrain vehicle registration funds as established in Iowa Code section 321I.8 and this rule shall be distributed in accordance with this chapter and upon execution of agreements. The local share of the registration fund shall be at least 50 percent of appropriate registration revenues. The remaining revenues shall be known as the state share. State share funds shall not exceed 50 percent of the total registration revenue generated for the program per fiscal year.
