Beginning January 1, 2024, and on each subsequent January 1, the lease or permit fee shall be adjusted on a cumulative basis by the percentage of the Consumer Price Index annual rate for the previous year for the Midwest Urban Region, published by the U.S. Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics. This change in fee will be applied when leases or permits are created or renewed.
