Rule 567-213.1 - Purpose

The purpose of this chapter is to implement the provisions of Iowa Code section 455D19., which seeks to reduce toxicity of packaging waste by eliminating the addition of heavy metals such as lead, mercury, cadmium, and hexavalent chromium in packaging and packaging components.
