Rule 567-209.13 - Selection

(1) To receive consideration under these rules, applications for financial assistance submitted to the department must be provided to the agency responsible for submitting an approved solid waste comprehensive plan or a subsequent solid waste comprehensive plan or by solid waste agencies participating in the environmental management system for agency review and comment. Applications shall be provided to the agency in the area in which the proposed project is located or the area or areas in which the proposed project will be implemented.

(2) The department shall coordinate evaluation of applications, and applicants will be awarded financial assistance based on review committee recommendations.
