Rule 567-65.305 - [Effective 6/19/2024] Construction certification

(1) The owner of an animal truck wash facility who is issued a construction permit for an animal truck wash effluent structure as provided in rule 567-65.301(455B,459,459A) shall submit to the department a construction certification on a form provided by the department from a PE certifying all of the following:

a. The animal truck wash effluent structure was constructed in accordance with the design plans submitted to the department as part of an application for a construction permit pursuant to rule 567-65.303(455B,459A). If the actual construction deviates from the approved design plans, the construction certification shall identify all changes and certify that the changes were consistent with all applicable standards of these rules.

b. The animal truck wash effluent structure was inspected by the PE after completion of construction and before commencement of operation.

(2) A written record of an investigation for drainage tile lines, including the findings of the investigation and actions taken to comply with subrule 65.304(1), shall be submitted as part of the construction certification.
