Rule 567-53.1 - Scope of chapter

This chapter describes the purpose and procedures for designating specific surface water and groundwater sources as protected sources. This includes the special information that may be required of applicants for permits to withdraw water from such sources and conditions that may be applied to approved permits. Those protected sources so designated by rule are also listed.

This rule is intended to implement Iowa Code sections 455B262., 455B264. through 455B274. and 455B278..
