Rule 567-50.5 - Initial screening of applications

(1)General procedure. Each application upon receipt shall be promptly evaluated by the department to determine whether adequate information is available to review the project. The department shall then advise the applicant of additional information required to review the project.

(2)Application to withdraw groundwater. Evaluation of the potential effects of a proposed withdrawal of groundwater requires review of available hydrogeological information. The department may require additional supporting hydrogeological information, which the applicant is responsible for providing.
