Current through Register Vol. 47, No. 6, September 18, 2024
Rule 567-41.15 - Monitoring of other contaminants

If the department determines that other contaminants are present in a public water supply, and the contaminants are known to pose, or scientific evidence strongly suggests that they pose, a threat to human health, the supplier of water may be required to monitor for such contaminants. The supplier of water will monitor at a frequency and in a manner which will adequately identify the magnitude and extent of the contamination. The monitoring frequency and sampling location will be determined by the department. All analytical results will be obtained using approved EPA methods and all analytical results will be submitted to the department for review and evaluation. Any monitoring required under this paragraph will be incorporated into an operation permit or an order.
