Rule 531-11.13 - Disputed prizes

If there is a dispute, or it appears that a dispute may occur relative to the payment of any prize, the lottery may refrain from making payment of the prize pending a final determination by the lottery or by a court of competent jurisdiction as to the proper payment of the prize.

This rule is intended to implement Iowa Code Supplement sections 99G.9(3), 99G.21(2), and 99G.31.
