Rule 486-4.65 - Transcript of testimony
(1) Hearings shall be electronically recorded. A record of testimony taken at the hearing shall be filed in the employment appeal board office.
(2) The employment appeal board's recording or transcript of the hearing shall be available to any interested person for examination at reasonable times without cost. Upon receipt of a copy of a petition filed in a district court of Iowa praying that an order of the employment appeal board be modified or set aside pursuant to Iowa Code section 88.9, the employment appeal board shall either:
a. Have the electronic recording transcribed, certify the transcript, and file it with the court, if no court reporter recorded the hearing, or
b. Contract with the court reporter to transcribe the reporter's notes; in which case the reporter shall certify the transcript and deliver the transcript to the employment appeal board for filing with the court.
