Rule 486-4.11 - Protection of trade secrets and other confidential information

(1) Upon application by any person, in a proceeding where trade secrets or other matters may be divulged, the confidentiality of which is protected by Iowa Code section 88.12, the employment appeal board or the administrative law judge shall issue such orders as may be appropriate to protect the confidentiality of such matters.

(2) Interlocutory appeal to the employment appeal board from an adverse ruling by the administrative law judge under this rule shall be granted as of right.
