Rule 481-69.36 - Dwelling units in dementia-specific programs

Dementia-specific programs are exempt from the requirements in subrules 69.35(2) to 69.35(4) as follows:

(1) For a program built in a family or neighborhood design:

a. Each dwelling unit used for single occupancy shall have a total square footage of not less than 150 square feet of floor area, excluding a bathroom; and

b. Each dwelling unit used for double occupancy shall have a total square footage of not less than 250 square feet of floor area, excluding a bathroom.

(2) Dementia-specific programs may choose not to provide bathing facilities in the dwelling units.
