(1) All soiled linens shall be collected in and transported to the laundry room in closed, leakproof laundry bags or covered, impermeable containers. (Ill)(2) Except for related activities, the laundry room shall not be used for other purposes. (Ill)(3) Procedures shall be written for the proper handling of wet, soiled, and contaminated linens. (Ill)(4) Residents' personal laundry shall be marked with an identification. (Ill)(5) Bed linens, towels, and washcloths shall be clean and stain-free. (Ill)Iowa Admin. Code r. 481-58.33
