Rule 441-201.7 - Termination of subsidy

Subsidy will terminate when any of the following occur:

(1) The adoptive child no longer meets the definition of child in rule 441-201.1 (600).

(2) The child marries.

(3) The adoptive parents are no longer using the maintenance payments to support the child.

(4) Death of the child, or death of the parents of the child (one in a single-parent family and both in a two-parent family).

(5) Upon conclusion of the terms of the agreement.

(6) Upon request of the adoptive parents.

(7) The adoptive parents are no longer legally responsible for the child.

(8) The child enlists in the military.
