Donations of money, clothing, books, games, recreational equipment or other gifts shall be made directly to the superintendent or designee. The superintendent or designee shall evaluate the donation in terms of the nature of the contribution to the facility's program. The superintendent or designee shall be responsible for accepting the donation and reporting the gift to the division administrator. All monetary gifts shall be acknowledged in writing to the donor.
This rule is intended to implement Iowa Code chapter 218.
