The authority is governed by a five-member board. The members are the treasurer of state, the director of the department of education, the director of the department of management, and two members appointed by the governor. The three state officials are authorized to designate representatives to serve on the board for them. The members of the board annually elect a chairperson, vice chairperson and secretary and such other officers as they determine are necessary.
