Each institution seeking approval of its paraeducator preparation program(s) will submit to the state board evidence of the extent to which the program meets the standards contained in this chapter. After the state board has approved an institution's paraeducator preparation program(s), students who complete the program(s) may be recommended by the authorized official of that institution for issuance of the appropriate certificate.
