The performance provisions within each charter school's contract are governed by Iowa Code section 256E.9. This framework includes the items in Iowa Code section 256E.9(1), including student academic growth and proficiency in English language arts on statewide outcome assessments, student academic growth and proficiency in mathematics on statewide outcome assessments, and conditions for learning data (as mandated by Iowa's state plan under the Every Student Succeeds Act).
