Rule 281-19.6 - [Effective 11/6/2024] School board-state board model

Iowa Code section 256E.4 governs charter schools founded under this model.

(1)School board-state board model application. An application submitted under this rule includes all of the items related to the proposed charter school that are set forth in Iowa Code section 256E.4(4).

(2)Conversion of existing attendance center. If the founding group proposes to establish a charter school by converting an existing attendance center of the school district, Iowa Code section 256E.4(5) governs such proposal.
